The First Step to Getting Organized

Take a look around your home. What do you see?

Do you see a layer (or layers) of stuff blocking your way to the things you actually need?

Or is the stuff you need mostly readily available, but you haven’t looked inside certain closets or cabinets in so long you’re not even sure what’s in there?

If you answered yes to either of these questions, you need to de-clutter.

De-cluttering is the first step to getting organized. Why? Because why would you make any plans until you know what you’re working with? You’ll want to get rid of anything you no longer, want, need, or simply isn’t serving you anymore. You’ll likely find things in different places that belong together. And once you’ve de-cluttered and can see what you actually own, you can make an organizational plan, buy the pretty organizing products, and place everything in the perfect spot.

De-cluttering is also a big motivator in getting organized. It can feel emotionally and physically cleansing and freeing to just get rid of shit!

I was a messy kid. But I remember there were days when my grandma would tell me that she had made an appointment for a charity to pick up stuff we don’t need anymore. She’d usually give me about a week’s notice. And I just LOVED this opportunity to go through all of my stuff and get rid of what I didn’t want or need anymore and put it all back together nicely. I’m pretty sure she did this just to get me to clean up. And it worked!

So, I’d like to give you a little notice and invite you to my first FREE online 10-Day De-Cluttering Challenge! Every day, for 10 days, I will send you an email containing a video lesson and worksheets. Over the course of 10 days we’ll go through different areas of your home and purge baby, purge!

It’s FREE! So, the only thing you have to lose is some stuff you don’t even need! Come check the details at
